Junior Competitive
Swimmers in this squad are under the age of 13 and proficient in all the fundamental techniques and skills, and have begun competing at a local level. Swimmers will be taught more advanced technique and skills, and will begin to learn how to train to be a successful senior swimmer. Swimmers will also begin basic dryland training with a focus on injury prevention, movement patterns, team building and correct warm-up procedures. The main goal for this squad will be qualifying for regional junior meets and the Makos Junior Festival.

The Junior Competitive squad’s training focuses on developing skills and techniques as well as building speed and endurance in a fun and engaging manner. Coaches provide instruction and feedback tailored to the specific needs of swimmers to help them progress and achieve their goals.
